German woman sexually abused in Sigiriya


On a complaint by a 32-year-old German woman, a man was arrested yesterday (Oct. 11) for allegedly sexually abusing her at a hotel in Sigiriya.

The woman has complained to police that he had sexually abused her and then fled the hotel on the previous day.

The suspect is said to be a resident of Negombo area.
