Nadeesha’s dickey mishap
The story of Nadeesha Hemamali’s ‘Dickey misshap’ has become a popular topic these days, ‘Sri Lanka Mirror’ learns.
According to Nadeesha she and another young girl were required to climb in to the boot of a vehicle while filming the film ‘The train to Kandy’. However, once inside, Nadeesha has felt claustrophobic and had yelled to the crew to open the boot.
However, the crew, thinking that she was saying her lines, has not suspected anything else. They had only learnt of the harrowing experience only after the scene was shot.
Nadeesha says that the experience had imprinted on her mind so deeply that she still feels choked when reminded of it.
Nadeesha's popularity has increased since her inclusion to R.V. UdayaKumar's 'Rascals' Telengu film.
She has also tried her hand as a producer in the teledrama 'Athkanda Lihini', where she played double roles.
She also owns the Production and Marketing House 'Track and Reel'.
'Track and Reel' recently produced 'Train to Kandy' aiming the international market and released the DVD of the teledrama 'Dunhinda Addara'.
