Mother opposes Hirunika’s political entry
Sumana Premachandra says her husband had gained nothing from politics, but had to sacrifice his life in the end.
She says the massive crowds who attended the funeral indicated Bharatha’s popularity among the people.
Commenting on reports that Hirunika is going to enter politics, Mrs. Premachandra says she has advised the only daughter to change her mind.
However, the girl is yet to give an answer, the mother says.
